Compatibility
This Steelmade Flat Top is compatible with glass ceramic electric radiant range stoves. The Flat Top sits on top of our Spacer Kit (included) that elevates the grill 5/8" above the glass to provide necessary ventilation to prevent the stove from overheating.

Performance
The Steelmade Flat Top works extremely well on glass ceramic radiant stoves. While the air gap created by the Spacer Kit is necessary to prevent the stove from overheating it is still very efficient at heating the Flat Top. Testing shows that with stoves set to just 1/3 power they are still capable of heating the Flat Top to nearly 550 degrees in less than 15 minutes.
